Official Bio

Named by Vogue as emerging fashion talent, Jackii Ramis embraces her creative vision to create ethical and conscious couture designs from textile to garment. Her taste, high contrast in color and shape, is an artistic and modern display of luxury design. She’s the creator of cult eco-activewear brand, Indigo Apparel, expanding the RTW collection to include custom garments and textile dyeing for over a decade. Jackii has taught artists and passionate go-getters from all walks of life how to dream big and achieve their goals by offering art and sewing classes, consulting services, pop up events, and providing other platforms for others to showcase their work and get results.  She has been in the business of custom art and fashion for 15 years, running community-based art collective The Studio Phantasmagoria, producing and participating in acclaimed runway shows, and organizing professional art installations and events.

About

Native to New York, Jackii Ramis began her fashion career in Milan, Italy. An interest in art history, the Italian language, and textile design moved her to attend university at the Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC) and Politecnico di Milano (Italy). In 2012, she debuted her acclaimed mini collection, Crunch which has been featured in publications worldwide. Jackii's enthusiasm for textile design and dyeing, handmade fashion, and surrealist art keep her endlessly inspired and passionate about her field. Her optimism and kind spirit allow her to connect with others along the way.

Jackii is currently working as a freelancer in Philadelphia & NYC, and is willing to travel for select projects. Please direct inquiries to jackiiramis@gmail.com.
